From September 26 to 29,2004, on the warm invitation of Madam Xu Xiaoxia on behalf of Zhenjiang Pearl S. Buck Research Association, Janet Mintzer and her party visited Zhenjiang to attend the Pearl S. Buck Commemorative Cultural Activities in Zhenjiang City (The Shooting-start Ceremony of CCTV Documentary "Looking for Pearl S.Buck", The First Showing Ceremony of Documentary "Pearl S. Buck in Zhenjiang", The First Issuing Ceremony of Commemorative Stamp Album-----"Pearl S. Buck in Zhenjiang", and Pearl S. Buck Commemorative Calligraphy & Painting Exhibition ).
